Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each chicken breast evenly with the lemon and seasoning mixture.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook for 7 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional 7-8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let them rest for 3 minutes before slicing and serving.
