Description

A quick and easy stovetop ground beef dinner, seasoned simply and cooked to perfection. Perfect for a hearty meal served with your favorite sides.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the finely chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary.
Season the beef with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano. Stir to combine.
Add the tomato paste and beef broth to the skillet. Stir well to incorporate the tomato paste into the beef mixture.
Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly and flavors meld.
Remove from heat and serve hot with your choice of sides.
