Description

A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe featuring a savory soy sauce glaze. Perfectly cooked salmon with a deliciously sticky and umami-rich coating, ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the soy sauce marinade over them. Let them marinate for 5 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Reserve the remaining marinade.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, brush the salmon fillets with the reserved marinade and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
