Description

A simple and healthy recipe for perfectly cooked salmon using an air fryer and olive oil. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, this salmon is ready in minutes and perfect for a quick dinner.


Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Season each fillet evenly with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle with any remaining olive oil if desired.
Serve immediately.
