Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix together kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the chicken breasts in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through at 7-8 minutes.
Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should read 165°F (74°C) when fully cooked.
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
