Description

A flavorful and protein-packed Korean BBQ chicken recipe marinated in a savory-sweet sauce, perfect for a healthy and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 6-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
Remove the chicken from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
