Description

Tender and juicy chicken breasts slow-cooked to perfection in a crock pot. This easy recipe is perfect for a hands-off meal and can be served with your favorite sides.


Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken breasts for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Place the seared chicken breasts in the crock pot.
Pour chicken broth over the chicken breasts.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken breasts from the crock pot and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
