Description

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked shrimp using an air fryer. This method delivers juicy, tender shrimp with a slightly crispy exterior in just minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.
Add the uncooked shrimp to the bowl and toss until all shrimp are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
Cook the shrimp in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to flip the shrimp.
Check that the shrimp are pink and opaque, indicating they are fully cooked. If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve immediately.
