Description

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked salmon straight from the freezer using an air fryer. This method yields tender, flaky salmon with a deliciously crisp exterior without the need to thaw.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, frozen (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the frozen salmon fillets evenly with the olive oil mixture on all sides.
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down if applicable, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon at 390°F (200°C) for 7 minutes.
After 7 minutes, carefully flip the salmon fillets and continue cooking for an additional 7 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes.
Serve the salmon with lemon wedges.
