Description

Enjoy crispy, golden fried shrimp made in the air fryer without using any egg. This easy recipe uses a seasoned breadcrumb coating for a crunchy texture and is perfect for a quick snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons olive oil spray

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate shallow bowl, pour the milk.
In a third shallow bowl, mix the plain breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Dip each shrimp first into the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Next, dip the shrimp into the milk to moisten it.
Then coat the shrimp evenly with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the shrimp lightly with olive oil spray.
Cook the shrimp in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve immediately.
