Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Rub olive oil evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook the chicken breasts for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
While the chicken cooks, prepare the glaze by whisking together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
After 12 minutes, brush the glaze generously over the chicken breasts.
Cook the glazed chicken breasts for an additional 3 minutes in the air fryer.
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
